Temple Hill Motorcycle Park, just north of Raymond, AB has not and is not being affected by the flooding in Southern Alberta. The venue has had rain but that just makes the grass greener, the track sweeter and no dust!
The 16th Annual WCAN will proceed as planned.
The forecast for next week is Sunny skies and temperatures ranging from 24-27 degrees.
For people travelling from BC, we are watching the road reports, right now the # 1 is not passable but the # 3 is okay with some sections down to one lane.
We will keep you posted as best we can!

The Lethbridge Motorcycle Club is excited to announce that they are again hosting the Western Canadian Amateur National Motocross Championships (WCAN). This is the largest amateur motocross event in Western Canada and riders have set their sites on this event for past 15 years. Top Amateur riders from across Western Canada and the United States will be showing up again to fight it out for the bragging rights in the 16th annual WCAN. Temple Hill offers a natural terrain, sand base track with good elevation changes to provide a challenge to all who attend.
Each CMRC region in Canada will be running a series of events, Amateur National Qualifiers (ANQ) that serve to qualify the top amateur motocross riders to compete for a CMRC Canadian Amateur Championship. This encourages riders to attend their regional qualifiers to guarantee themselves a starting position in their class. Putting Amateur riders on a national podium is our objective by giving them a chance to test their ability against other out-of-region rider. This event puts our best riders on the track with other top competitors from abroad.
The WCAN offers competitors of all levels a chance to race and to enjoy the family-festival type atmosphere that we strive to provide the riders, their families and the spectators. The event also has a whole range of amenities for the campers and spectators; fresh water service and septic service for those camping in RV's, full concession, displays and is close to Raymond, AB.
