KTM CANADA LAUNCHES A REDESIGNED MX CONTINGENCY PROGRAM FOR MOTOCROSS RACERS!
published at 18.05.2011 / created by KTM Canada
The 2011 Motocross season in Canada is just around the corner and many racers will be racing their KTM or are still thinking about purchasing their new KTM after discovering the orange bike of their dreams at their local track or at their local KTM dealers. To add to the many reasons why they would race a KTM, KTM Canada, Inc., is pleased to announce reinforced motocross contingency initiatives that are part of a completely new amateur racing and lifestyle program named ORANGE BRIGADE.
What is the Orange Brigade?
Canadian motocross racers and KTM Canada share a strong common interest: a true 'Ready to Race' attitude. "KTM amateur and pro racers show a unique passion for the sport and are loyal representatives of our brand. We want to give back and reward this loyalty by launching a program that will gather all the 'Orange Bleeders'. It was just natural to call it the Orange Brigade" mentions Andy White, Marketing and Racing Manager for KTM Canada.
There are now 3 types of contingencies available in 2011:
- Pro/Pro-am support for the 9 CMRC Nationals events. KTM will pay the top 10 in both classes (MX1 & MX2).
- KTM will pay out the top 5 in the 3 amateur nationals as well (Walton, ON, Raymond, AB and Deschambault, QC.
- There will also be a full Canadian provincial program covering the entire Canadian market.
The process is simple: You as a KTM rider must register your eligible KTM SX model(s)* (see eligible list below) with KTM Canada, Inc., and if you finish well in an eligible class at the end of an eligible series, you collect a KTM voucher/cash!

YAMAHA'S 2011 'YAMABUCKS FOR YOU' PROGRAM RETURNS
March 31, 2011
Yamaha Motor Canada is bringing back the popular 'Yamabucks For You' program that successfully launched last year. The program distributes thousands of dollars worth of Yamabuck gift certificates to Yamaha enthusiasts across the country via track days and amateur MX, Enduro and ATV racing.
"For many of our customers, the track becomes their second home during the riding season. We want to show our support to members of the Yamaha family who help to represent us at tracks across Canada." commented PR Specialist, Bryan Hudgin.
Street motorcyclists who take their Yamaha to selected track day organizations will receive a one time, $75 Yamabuck at event registration. Racers will receive varying amounts based on their finishing position in the classes and events specified. The Yamabuck certificate is redeemable at any local Yamaha dealer for purchase towards anything Yamaha Motor Canada sells including units, parts, accessories and apparel.
"What is unique about 'Yamabucks for You' is that, for the racing portion of the program, amateur racers may not even need a podium finish to reap the rewards. For instance, if a racer finished 15th but was the third finishing Yamaha in the class, the racer would still qualify for a Yamabuck." relayed Hudgin, "It's a way for us to say thank you to many of the customers who have chosen Yamaha and help support them, if even just a little, at the track."
All Yamabucks will be distributed by track and series promoters at the event or the conclusion of the series for which it is designated to. Only the events and organizations in the chart below will be in possession of Yamabucks. Offer is good only while supplies last.
Please review the attached chart for a complete listing of supported track day and race events, classes and amounts.
